Abstract
This paper discusses the representation of modal particles in some contemporary German-Bulgarian dictionaries. Because of the idiosyncratic nature of these lexemes, their proper description is usually a problematic matter, especially when monolingual dictionaries are considered. The following article is an attempt to analyze to what extent and whether it is possible at all to pinpoint equivalents in Bulgarian as a target language.
