Abstract
The paper aims to trace the typological similarities between the comedies of Dario Fo that are presented on the Bulgarian stage and the plays from the classical period of Stanislav Stratiev, namely – ‘Roman Bath’, ‘The Suede Jacket’, ‘The Bus’. The plays of the Italian comedian, thanks to the modern and
eternal charge of the comedy of situations and manners, and also to the projections of the theater of the absurd, prepare the audience, make censorship alert, stylize artistic taste and form in our country. Their stage impersonation makes possible the appearance on the Bulgarian stage of an author of the scale,
profile and sarcastic pessimism of Stratiev.
