Abstract
In this paper we deal with the signals of contextual conditioning – textual connectors – and types of form-meaning connections, using a rich corpus that includes the collected and assembled critical texts and articles written by Rastko Petrović (1898–1949). The linguistic analysis includes both textual connectors
and compositional figures of speech, and encompasses two aspects of study – stylematics, that is, structural weaving, and stylogenicity, that is, the expressive value of unusual units.
