Abstract
The subject of the article is the letters of a personal nature in “Short Latest Letter Writing Handbook” (1856) by Georgi Ikonomov Dupnichanin. The types of letters , their structure and content are presented, with a particular focus on love letters. Against the backdrop of the cultural and literary language situation
in the second half of the 19th century, an analysis of the linguistic and artistic means of expression used by the author is made.
