Abstract
This paper delves into Turkish personal names inspired by flower names, scrutinizing them from a linguistic and cultural standpoint. The objective of this research is to pinpoint which flower names are adopted as personal names within the Turkish context; to dissect the morphological and etymological aspects of these names; and to gauge the prevalence of various flower names in the creation of personal names. A corpus of Turkish personal names influenced by flower names has been compiled for this study. The findings reveal the most commonly used flower names as personal names, elucidate the patterns of name formation, and uncover the etymological roots of these names.
