Abstract
The main characteristic feature of Turkish Language is that it has an agglutinative system. The suffix -lik, quite commonly used, has various functions. The Turkish Dictionary defines it as one of the most productive suffixes. As a result of this study, several different functions of the -lik are categorized, and each is exemplified by sentences and words. The analysis provides the background of the usage of -lik in Turkish.
