Abstract
This paper explores the place of some deadjectival verbs on the semantic map of property predication in Slavic languages following Prototype Theory, which is widely used in Cognitive Linguistics, and more specifically Croft’s Radical Construction Grammar. I propose that intransitive property predicates belong to the category of unmarked verbs but as peripheral members of the category.
Key words: deadjectival verbs, intransitive property predicates, Prototype Theory, Radical Construction Grammar
