Abstract

The purpose of the present paper is to offer an innovative model for summation classes on the initial introduction of eight-graders to Nikolay Liliev’s poetry. I have used the innovative model of analogy in interpreting landmark poems such as “The Silent Spring Rain”, “Morning Light”, “Horizons Over-hanging”, as compared to works like “Dawn Came to the Sleepy Gardens”, “The Sky – Insanely Azure”, “I Humbly Walk, I Walk Alone”. I focus on images of rain in the poetry of Geo Milev, Hristo Yasenov and in Bulgarian folk songs.

Key words: symbolism, analogy, equity, method, experiment
