Abstract

This paper analyzes the practical use and perception of precedent phenomena from Russian linguaculture (national specific units and universal units) among learners from Bulgaria, Serbia, Poland and Italy. It compares the results from two surveys – among native speakers and among learners – andanalyzes the level of recognition of universal and ethno-specific precedent phenomena. Based on the results of the survey, this paper provides a new methodology of teaching precedent phenomena.
