Abstract
The article examines a Russian-Bulgarian phrasebook from the 1854s, au-thored by Sava Filaretov. The purpose of this text is to briefly present some translation methods and techniques used by the author, providing examples from both the Russian and Bulgarian sections of the phrasebook. The article also at-tempts to analyze the translation transformations employed by the author in his Russian-Bulgarian phrasebook.
