Abstract
In the first part of this paper we highlight the features of the divergence as an accommodation strategy. We emphasize its place within the other communication strategies distinguished along the development of the speech/communication accommodation theory (SAT / CAT). In the second part we comment the verbal and the non-verbal signs of the divergence strategies in three television productions: “Referendum” (BNT), “Chasat na Milen Cvetkov” (Nova TV) and “Tazi sutrin” (bTV).
