Abstract

This text studies the notions of inter-culturality, multi-culturality, intercultural competences etc., so widely used in the recent years and their role in foreign language didactics. We undertake to analyze the literary text as the link between the cultures in the sense of knowledge of the other. We also reflect on the role of the lecturer as an intercultural mediator, as a promoter of intercultural didactics of foreign literature.
