Abstract
The scientific framework is considered and the definition of „linguacultural discourse“ is proposed which is understood as speech activity and carried out by communicants in the process of mastering and comprehension of phenomena of either their own culture or any other one. The ways of linguistic representation of the Russian food metaphor in such genre forms of linguacultural discourse like linguacultural dictionary and television travelog are characterized. The empirical material is composed of „Dictionary of Russian Food Metaphor“ (2015, 2017) and three television series from the author’s cycle of travel programs by V. Pozner and I. Urgant (2008, 2010, 2016).
