Abstract

This paper looks at the typology of transfer – positive transferring of skills and knowledge from German (Language 3) to Bulgarian (Language 1) – and transfer categories, as well as the different kinds of transfer. Using indicators developed by the author, the present research analyses the experimental control of reverse transfer in acquiring grammatical knowledge of reflexive personal pronouns in German language classes, and the development of skills and habits of using them in Bulgarian speech and writing.
