Abstract

The paper focuses on the linguistic means (wordformation patterns, lexical, and phraseological) of expressing evaluative negation in Modern Bulgarian Language, which is one of the subjective meanings of linguistic negation denoting rejection and disapproval. Attention is paid to the specificity of this type of negation that functions in the peripheral field of the category of polarity. The stylistic potential of its explicators is also emphasized.
