Abstract
Thе article aims at outlining a framework for a unified description of verbal multiword expressions and their derivatives in the lexical-semantic network WordNet. The framework is linguistically independent and is applicable to the systematic description of verbal multiword expressions in a wide variety of linguistic resources. Main principles of derivation are presented, as well as structural variations and semantic relations stemming from the derivation.
