Abstract

The object of our research are authentic texts and videos, which could be used as an effective alternative teaching technique as part of a communicative teaching method aiming at improving the communicative skills of students who study Bulgarian as a foreign language. The theory presented in this paper is applied to the study process of Bulgarian language at Masaryk University in Brno. The results are provided in the conclusion.
