Abstract
The paper discusses three types of grammatical markers in Bulgarian synthetic verb forms: segmentable grammatical morphemes which additively express one grammatical feature; segmentable grammatical morphemes which cumulatively express a number of grammatical features; grammatical formants that contain pseudo-morphemes and that cumulatively express more than one grammatical feature. Some cases of super-cumulation (or over-cumulation) are also presented and reviewed.
