Abstract
One of many stages in establishing written language are dialectological problems drawing the outlines for a deeper understanding of spoken language. A knowledge requiring a specific metalanguage where the observed and discovered phenomena may be constituted and explained. It is why Bulgarian scholars and writers strive to construct exact terms in harmony with the sound theoretical view regarding issues of the 2nd quarter of the 19th century, questions that formed particularly in the 3rd quarter of the same age. The time period when Bulgarian dialectology began.
