Abstract
The present report treats the question of specific noun phrases with two or more adjectives obtaining the definite article in modern Bulgarian and analyses a common mistake usually made by native speakers in this respect. One such phrase is малкият и среден бизнес (‘the small and medium size enterprise’) which is a good illustration of the problem.
