Abstract
After the so called “Thaw” began (1956) Atanas Dalchev published many works in the satiric newspaper Starshel. Later, some of them were included in his book Fragments (1967), one of them in his poetry book from 1965, others appeared later in the two-volume book from 1984. However, there are a few that have not been republished by now and therefore remain not well known. The paper focuses on the author’s reasons to leave some of the works outside his books, as well as on the change in the context of the works and on the transformation of their conceptual code after their being republished in the books. At the end of the article, the ironical aspect of Dalchev’s works is studied, together with its function in time of ideological control.
