Abstract
The work examines the specific expression of emotion, emotional reaction and emotional evaluation. In particular, the focus is on some typical ways of grading expression in emotional-evaluative phrases. The direct or indirect connection between the semantics, the hidden suggestions, and the real functioning of the expressive markers is traced. The behavior of quantifiers – modifiers – qualifiers of the sign / assessment is distinguished. The dynamics of the situation are sought both in Bulgarian and in Russian.
