Abstract
In this paper the author deals with the fairy tale Kratkovečna by the great Serbian poet Desanka Maksimović (1898–1993) – as an autopoetic text with many literary references, reminiscenceses, alussions, citations, echoes of classic aestetical and poetical teories. In that way Kratkovečna is shown as a literary text convenient to be interpreted in terms of the intertextual approach to literature.
