Abstract

The aim of this article is to compare Polish and Bulgarian addressative forms. This comparison has been made from the level of unofficial (familiar) honorification: name and familiar titles. This analysis focuses on the comparison of formal structure of analysed forms, the discussion on their repartition in both languages with particular attention to cultural conventions. It also points to reasons of relocating some of the addressative forms from the official to the familiar honorification.
