Abstract
The aim of this report is to outline the formation, usage and development of the category of voice in the Old Bulgarian Language. In order to fully under-stand its contemporary state, we should definitely start from the very beginning of its of origin. I have used the methodology of description of definitions and examples which are found in grammars and reports based on the state of the Old Bulgarian Language. Thoroughly examining the characteristics of the category of voice, when it comes to its history will definitely help us find its place in the grammatical system of the Bulgarian Language.
